Our client has considerable experience on a broad range of industrial and commercial projects and associated infrastructure developments; projects have been delivered within a variety of contractual frameworks, ranging from partnerships to fix priced contracts.
Their structural expertise includes new construction and refurbishment / modification of existing structures in a variety of environments, including nuclear sites, industrial parks and commercial centres. The services they offer includes structural surveys and assessments, conceptual development and feasibility studies, and geotechnical and chemotoxic ground investigation. Their projects have covered a wide range of structures from heavy and light industrial facilities, to heavy civil structures, to factories and warehouses, to laboratories and test facilities, and municipal buildings and offices.
They are currently looking to recruit two structural engineers, either Chartered or near Chartered working towards MICE or MI Struct E on a permanent basis to work at their offices in South Manchester.

The successful candidates should be experienced in the design of industrial projects; some experience in the nuclear or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.

Candidates should be capable of leading a design team and be able to communicate with the client and other professionals.The work will involve mainly the design of R.C and steel structures.
