Automation Engineer Manchester Permanent - NEG Continentals

Our Client are a leading beverage manufacture based in Manchester, due to several capital project finishing they urgently need to recruit an automation engineer to join their existing team.

Reporting to the head of the engineering department this is a key role within the site engineering team. The candidate will have full responsibility for electrical duties on site. You will specify the requirements for planned preventative maintenance of electrical, instruments and automation systems and ensure adherence. Our candidate will have experience in providing automation and control support to al site departments with regard to plant control this covers instrumentation, SCADA and SAP. You will set electrical standards on site and ensure that all engineering personnel adhere to them

The right candidate for the role will have experience understanding existing software to relate this to the drink filling & packaging process with experience of programming of Allen Bradley & Siemens PLCs.
