Building Surveyor Maintenance, Greater Manchester, Start ASAP.

A Building Surveyor is required for my client in the Manchester area. This is mainly a maintenance surveying position and it is contract for approximately 8 months. The main duties and responsibilities are as below:

Post: Building surveyor, Responsive Maintenance and Repairs for Local Authority

Duties: Pre and post inspection of day - to - day repairs (by appointment).
Pre and post inspection of void properties (relets), in order to bring property back to relet Standard.
Ordering of works on the direct I.T. system linked to our building contractors.

Hours are approximately 35 per week and this will be flexitime. A trade background will help in this role and of course good customer care skills are essential, as you will be dealing with the public. If you have previous Manchester Housing Services surveying experience, this would be ideal. You will need a car and current driving licence, common sense and reasonable I.T. skills.
