Paris based oil company seeking Christmas Tree Engineer for work on deepwater West African project. Initially to be based in Paris, then potential relocation to contractor site (possibly Norway) with trips to Angola anticipated.

Duties Include:
- Assist in evaluation of equipment systems and designs for the subsea field development. Provide technical guidance and support.
- Will be involved in the review and approval of Contractor design and analysis of subsea equipment specific to the Xmas Trees, Tubing Hanger System, Running Tools and other associated equipment
- Will participate during E-FAT, stackup test and SIT, and be involved in supervision of pre-installation and the installation phase.
- Will be responsible for compliance with Company Procedures.

Engineer must have:
- 7 years experience in subsea engineering associated with marine wellheads, Xmas Trees systems, and exposure to operations and manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of system and design, manufacturing and testing of subsea equipment with a minimum of 7 years experience, most likely with some experience of offshore installation phase.
- Working knowledge of industry standards related in subsea systems, e.g. API 6A, 17A, 17D, 16A and ISO 13628 series.
Familiar with constraints of operations and associated interfaces.
