Job Purpose/ Responsibilities

Manage contract tender reviews, interviews, reports, commercial proposals and recommendations
Provide hands-on, commercial management and expertise to assist in successful delivery of projects including liaison with the owners representatives, cost consultants, design consultants and construction managers.
Assist in the implementation of robust time, cost and management reporting systems
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate assessments and reporting of Project Costs and Values.
Review subcontracts and orders to ensure compliance with Contract requirements
Review of all presentations, reports and recommendations to ensure compliance with Contract requirements
Training and development of commercial staff.

Essential Functions

Devise and implement sound commercial and financial Project controls
Ensure timely submissions of Interim Payment Applications and prompt payments to the supply chain
Maintain, enforce, document and control all subcontractors and suppliers
Provide direction and support to subcontract administrators

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent technical, communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts
Excellent people and leadership skills
