The role

NES have a Dubai based client who is recruiting experienced staff for a major project in Dubai



Required Experience/Accountabilities



Degree in Civil Engineering or similar



Ideally many years in a similar sort of role and another plus if you have worked in the UAE or GCC before.



This role is for the Landscape and Infrastructure section



The Construction Manager has to ensure that what is occurring on site is complying fully with the time, cost and quality requirements of the project.

The Construction Manager must have the ability to oversee potential risks in order to avoid delays to the project.

Monitoring the work progress of the contractor(s) and supervising the input of stakeholders such as consultants that impact on site output. Co-ordinate the activities of the design and construction teams.

Responsible for daily field management of the operations. Managing and monitoring tasks of the consultant inspectors. Ensuring the contractor practices adhere to the procedure and that all equipment is correctly operated. Notification of any extraordinary events including accidents, equipment breakdowns, personal injury, events with environmental consequences, or any other occurrence outside the safe and efficient progression of the works. Adhere to the safety regulation and procedures and ensure that the stakeholders of the project are fully compliant.
