Primary Purpose of Job:
In addition to supporting the various day to day cost management activities of the team, an important and key part of the role is providing commercial support to the teams business efforts, tracking and reporting the performance of the team and developing ways in which current procedures and practices maybe improved.

Key Accountabilities:

Measuring and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators including the teams performance in terms of agreed budgets, schedule, utilisation and customer satisfaction.
Helping and assisting in the development and improvement of existing processes and procedures.
Helping and assisting in the development of new and existing cost management tools and databases.
Developing ways to improve customer and client relations.
Developing the commercial and business acumen by identifying ways to improve performance and maximise business opportunities.
General support to the cost management team.

Person Specification:

Good IT skills including the main Microsoft packages.
Basic understanding of other tools used within Commercial Services such as P3e, Risk tools etc.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work closely with others within a team environment.
Good understanding of commercial services within a company.
