Our client is a international EPC company that specialise in major engineering project solutions and services across a range of market sectors that include;
Oil & Gas, Refining & Chemicals, Mining & Metals and Power Generation. Their nuclear services part of the company currently have a large amount work and current activities within the UK nuclear industry are centred around remediation, decommissioning and clean up of the historic nuclear legacy. Due to the demand and present projects the client are seeking Electrical / CAD Engineers to povide engineering support at their customers site location in Wales. The successful applicants will be responisble for producing detailed engineering design solutions, specificaiton and calculations of various decommissioning related projects. The suitable applicants must possess the following experience / skills;

1. HND or above in electrical/control/instrumentation engineering (preferably degree/chartered status)
2. 5 years + electrical engineering experience is essential
3. Excellent understanding of electrical detail design and specification (MCC's, Control Panels, Switchgear, Wiring & Electrical Distribution Systems)
4. CAD proficient (AutoCAD preferably)
5. Previous UK nuclear industry experience with contractor/consultancy (preferably decommissioning related)
6. Able to communicate, work well within a team but capable of working from their own initiative and without supervision.
