HSE Engineer: South East
Our client is an Oil & Gas operating company with offices in the South East. A vacancy has arisen for a HSE Engineer to be located in their South East offices on a contract basis.

The role will involve implementing the Company HSE Management System and policies, ensuring they are implemented across projects. You will provide support for HSE objectives, providing HSE audit, inspection actions and implementing programmes for these activities. You will ensure the adequate collection of HSE statistics and their reporting to management. You will provide effective means for liaison and communication with partners, shareholders, government organisations and non-government organisations (NGOs) on HS&E matters.

The successful candidate must hold a degree in engineering or safety related subject, having extensive knowledge and skills in the oil and gas sector within production/ drilling, projects or operations. You will have broad understanding of the technical issues of exploration & production activities and associated risk management through previous direct experience of these. You will have strong understanding of the health, safety and environmental issues of exploration, project and production activities through direct experience of these. Also, good understanding of the environmental sensitivities for Projects, Safety Cases, sustainable development issues and expectations.
