 Senior technical manager with the experience and background to quickly gain the respect of technical teams and stakeholders
Detailed technical understanding of the theory and practice of at least three of the following areas;
- Very Large Scale Systems design & integration
- Large scale database design
- Enterprise architecture
- Testing strategy
- Web technologies (e.g. web services, XML, SOAP, WSDL)
- Messaging and data modelling
- System security
- National/Public sector standards (e.g. eGIF
Exp technical architect who has led major application design & rollout projects with values in excess of 10m

Exp assessing & assuring suppliers deliverables on solutions with values in excess of 15m a&successfully negotiating and influencing the supplier to deliver
Commercially aware technologist with the ability to understand commercial contracts and apply the commercial statements to technical decisions and obligations. Able to adapt technical solutions in pragmatic ways to ensure that progress is made without impacting commercial positions or allowing suppliers to reduce their overall value

Leadership & facilitation willing and able to take on both a practical and thought leadership role within large teams (10 -50 people) drawn from diverse interest groups
