Our client has a vacancy for a Local Cost Manager to be based in Edinburgh. You will need sound experience in the delivery of Water Industry Capital Investment Programmes. You will also need strong experience in working within and supplying information to Water Industry Regulatory requirements.

You will also need a good understanding of how to generate cost estimates for different phase of projects and programmes of work. Plus, a strong understanding of the delivery process to engineer/procure/execute/deliver work.

You must have the ability to multi-taks and take responsibility for delivering to time and budget (on occasions with minimal supervision). In addition you must be able to work in and/or lead teams, communicate clearly and have good organisation skills.

You must be competent working in an 'electronic' data management environment.

You will need hands-on experience in:
High level budget estimating.
Detailed cost estimating.
Provision of a cost management services.

You will be familiar with different commercial arrangements (contract conditions and project delivery strategies) and experience providing a 'client facing' service and possess the abilty to stimulate and encourage business growth.
