Job Description:
15 years Mechanical experience of GE Gas Turbines - LM6000s (Mark VI and Fanuc). The job consists of commissioning and start of 10 LM6000 GTs and a Topping Plant. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for all GT and Generator controls issues, start-up of the machines, training of the ME staff in start-up activities and also operating of the GTs once they are running and synchronised to the Grid. Working with the Ministry of Electricity staff to provide technical support on plant problems, mentoring on operational procedures to maximise unit power output, reliability and availability.
