Job Purpose Statement

With expert knowledge of NDE inspection processes, their application and subsequently providing technical support to internal and external customer needs. Ensure projects meet specification, standards and performance requirements within area of expertise.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills: (what are required for this role?)

Expert knowledge of NDE processes and their application.

ASNT and or EN 473 / PCN minimum level II in UT, RT, MT, PT.

Welding inspector qualification minimum CSWIP 3.1 or EN 473 /PCN level II

Auditor training and qualification minimum Internal or lead auditor

Radiation protection supervisor qualification.

Problem-solving - ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Innovative skills to research and create new products / processes.

Good organizational skills. Lean Manufacturing process (raw material to customer) / Supply Chain & Logistics

Knowledge of specifications (API, NORSOK etc).

Product Knowledge

HSE

Software packages SAP, Microsoft Access, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

An ability to communicate (oral/written/presentation) at all levels is essential as is the drive to succeed within a high-pressure environment. Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.

Education and/or Experience:

Degree in NDE / materials engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in a project driven, technical & hands-on role
