Senior Estimator
South Carolina; long term contract
Must be able to coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, project controls and the client. He/she must understand and articulate the project scope, communicate with various departments and accumulate project data, assemble the estimate and ensure that it is accurate and complete, coordinate any supporting estimating help, complete the deliverables as required, and understand the estimating practices and procedures while executing these tasks. Computer and communication skills and a thorough understanding of the engineering and construction processes are highly important. Experience with petroleum/refinery, chemical, manufacturing, power or similar type projects is required. A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of pertinent experience or 15 years experience in pertinent EPC work with related discipline fields are essential. Experience in estimating, project management, field engineering, engineering, project controls or certain field craft is required.
