Our client is looking for a Senior Structural technician for their Birmingham office. Your role will include all of the following:
1. Produce AutoCAD structural drawings, General Arrangement, Reinforced concrete, Misc. details and Structural Steelwork General Arrangements along with relevant details under supervision.
2. Liaise under supervision with main contractor and the client and other design team members during the design process.
3. Issue structural drawings to the internet based document control system compliant with project protocols and with CAD standards and protocols.
4. Co-ordination of structural drawings under supervision with other design team members, Architects, Building Services and External Works consultants
5. Ensuring compliance to the appropriate project specifications, design and health and safety standards as required.
6. Assisting administrative staff in their maintenance of project spreadsheets and document control system.
7. Work under supervision with team members to identify & meet client needs and expectations, responding positively and professionally to clients.
8. Experience in determining the setting out of drawings working with others in design teams.

The successful candidate will be a Senior Technician qualified up to HNC level with practical experience of structural, building or civil engineering disciplines, although candidates with an ONC qualification are also encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in Revit 3d modelling would be beneficial but not essential
