My client is looking for a Solutions Architect who will need to have a thorough understanding of Oracle functionality and set up options across a range of modules (Finance, Procurement, HR/Payroll; CRM).

The candidate will need a similar level of understanding of the infrastructure necessary to support a large scale Oracle system. Experience in assessing and validating proposed solutions for a range of customers in both and large and small scale operations will be required.

The role will be in two phases:

Phase 1: a strategic view of the proposed solutions, assessing their overall suitability together with associated key issues and risks, and

Phase 2: specific investigation and review of the agreed key areas arising from the Phase 1 findings.

Both phases will encompass:

The Oracle modules to be used within the solution
Key customisations to be used within the solution
The most effective long term solution
Key Oracle set up decisions
The cost effectiveness of the proposed payroll solution for smaller customers
The infrastructure plans including the assumptions underpinning the infrastructure solution.
