My client is looking for an experienced Technical Support Analyst to provide support in the following areas: provide the business owner with technical assurance that the IT solution developed meets the business requirement and provides a robust and reliable solution in the evnt of a failure of the existing payment system and to provide assurance to the business owner and the Department's Architecture lead that the solution meets enterprise architecture and Departmental security requirements. The Technical Support Engineer will have significant experience in architecture, design, implementation and operation of large scale Enterprise IT architecture programmes in a large and complex multi-supplier/multi-platform environment, a proven track record in software development, significant experience in a number of the following: Network/Telephony; BPM and Integration technologies; information management; IT security; COTS products, knowledge of payment systems and the banking payment processes, experience of working within a Central Government department, experience of MVS, VME, Unix and Microsoft and experience of application development methods such as SSADM, DSDM, Objectory/UML.
