BS Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and a good solid background working directly in a related telecommunications environment. Must have full knowledge and understanding of Cisco Call Manager and Unified Communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff are important. Customer service skills are paramount.
This position supports clients global communications infrastructure, with a specific focus on supporting the UK/Ireland and shared support of Europe after hours needs. The successful candidate will design, configure, and support small to large voice and video services, develop documentation as requested, plan work effort to estimate schedule and timelines to advise the client of impact and resources, be able to report for emergency duty, work outside normal hours, and travel when necessary.

Desired Qualifications:
Cisco advanced voice certifications are preferred.

Experience (Essential):
Progressive relevant training and/or Cisco certifications may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirement. Require practical hands-on experience in design, implementation, and support of Cisco VoIP equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff are important. Customer service skills are paramount.

Experience (Desired):
Avaya Digital and/or VoIP and data networking experience will enhance the qualified candidate.
