QatarGas pioneered the LNG industry in Qatar and currently exports 10 million tons per annum of LNG to customers in Japan and Spain. For the ongoing development and expansion projects, which will see markets served in Europe, Asia and North America, QatarGas is presently looking for a Civil Engineer for its expansion project.

- Support the Engineering Manager tin coordinating/communicating various issues that affect the civil engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work.
- Responsible for insuring that Management of Change (MOC) on Project design is performed according to established procedures, and work with the Business Unit to ensure MOC adequately documents rational.
- Facilitate and coordinate all civil engineering technical work products, is responsible for technical input on facilities sharing/allocation issues.
- Facilitate and coordinate civil engineering technical work products.
- Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, COMPANY standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of civil design drawings, documents, and specifications.
- Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to project procedures and maintains Deviation Control Log.
- Steward civil engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests.
- Contributes to the development all of Project Report and protocols to ensure a successful GATE compliance review.
- Keep Engineering Manager informed of civil engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns.
- Participate in civil engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locations.
