Our client, a prestigious consultancy, is looking to recruit civil engineers at a variety of levels, from junior civil engineers to project managers, to their offices based in Swindon. You will be working on a variety of civil engineering projects on the railways.

Accountabilities:
1. Preparation, checking of feasibility studies, technical reports and other written documents.
2. Checking of design calculations, structural analysis.
3. The inspection and assessment of structures.
4. Surveying and condition monitoring /appraisal of structures.
5. Production and checking of design concepts, drawings, specifications.
6. Management of teams of engineers and external suppliers.
7. Delivery of work to programme, budget and specification.
8. Planning, monitoring and reporting of project resources and finances.
9. Client and third party liaison.

Requirements
1. HND combined with post qualification experience.
2. Previous relevant experience in the design and / or maintenance of bridge or buildings.
3. Previous experience in the rail industry and knowledge of railways standards.
4. Computer literate and conversant with MS Office suite and building knowledge in the use of structural analysis software (SuperSTRESS, SCALE and Archie).
