A Contracts Engineer is required to work in Nigeria on a 12 month renewable contract. Rotation is 6/2.

Responsibilities:
To finalise tender documents, participate in prequalification of tenderers, deal with queries during the bid phase, perform bid evaluation and participate in negotiations. Preparation of final contract documents.
To ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the tender process.
To intervene in the settlement of the claims in relation with the Head of Contract, Services Manager, by proposing strategies and actions and by participating to the negotiations.
To coordinate the relations with the suppliers by consulting the instruction givers.
To Consolidate all contracts and purchasing information based on UNISUP (EPSCC) for analysis and
reporting, weekly and monthly, monitor the completion dates and renewal dates, and reports it during Project
meetings.
To follow-up the Contracts circulation and signature according to the Contract preparation Procedure.

POST CONTRACT AWARD
To prepare the contractual correspondence to be sent to Contractors,To analyze the contractual correspondence received from Contractors
To ensure timely submission and adjustment by contractors, of Performance Bank Guarantees, Advance
Payment Bank Guarantees, Insurance Certificates, Waiver of Recourse for Contractors and subcontractors,
and other certificates as applicable.
To prepare the Certificates to be issued by OML58, as provided for in the CONTRACT, for signature by the
Parties.To monitor and record any changes to the basic scope of work description.To prepare the corresponding minutes of meeting.
To check the conformity of the Sub-Contracts To participate to meetings and Variation Order (VO) meetings, and, upon request to ad hoc meetings with
Contractors.
Ensuring that the construction activities are carried out in accordance with the described scope of work
