PURPOSE:
� Manage and perform flow assurance related engineering studies for the development of subsea production systems during all stages of development;
� Interface with clients to define, plan and execute engineering studies;
� Support other project disciplines: Project Manager, pipeline, risers, umbilicals, topsides, installation, controls, subsea and field development.
QUALIFICATIONS
� BSc in Engineering, Mathematics or Applied Science
� Experience in flow assurance software (PIPESIM, OLGA, PVTSim, HYSYS, Aspen) or equivalent is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Liaise with clients to ensure project scope and deliverable are fully defined and understood;
� Prepare CTR�s for project proposals;
� Plan flow assurance engineering activities within the overall project schedule, ensuring all activities and deliverables are identified;
� Assist the Project Manager with resource allocation;
� Coordinate tasks with lead engineer and other engineers;
� Review and perform transient and steady-state modelling for various engineering studies, including work associated with feasibility, conceptual and front end engineering projects;
� Summarize results for client deliverables in technical reports and presentation formats;

ENGINEERING TASKS:
� Perform steady-state thermal-hydraulics modeling of subsea production systems;
� Prepare and execute transient, multiphase-phase thermal-hydraulic simulations to establish system operability for planned and unplanned shut down, flowline depressurization, dead oil circulation, pigging, well testing, rate change, cool down times, warm-up times, thermal insulation design;
� Define field development strategy: single vs. dual flowlines, artificial lift, thermal management, hydrate remediation;
� Evaluate and model phase behaviors of production fluids based on laboratory analysis results;
� Develop subsea system design recommendations and operating philosophies;
