Our client is a UK wide engineering consultancy business covering the majority if engineering sectors. Their Nuclear Services business require a Human Factors Consultant to join their team based in the North West. The Nuclear Services business provides engineering and risk management consultancy to a range of UK and overseas nuclear operators, regulators and contractors. They provide a front-end design and consultancy service to underpin the feasibility and conceptual stages of projects through to the full design service and support to operation of nuclear facilities, including the decommissioning of redundant facilities and the management of radioactive wastes.

The role will include the management of work packages and performance of Human Factor assessment work, task analysis, ergonomic assessment and human reliability analysis. Applicants will have an Honours and/or a Masters Degree in a relevant subject, and should have Human Factors consultancy experience in a high hazard industry, ideally nuclear experience, including human factors integration.
