Job Summary

The Nuclear business of our client has been operating successfully for over 25 years across the areas of generation, propulsion, decommissioning and defence. Due to their ongoing success and demand for technical expertise they are continuing to develop and grow the business year on year. To develop their mechanical team further we now have an opportunity for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to be based from their North West offices.

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will support the preparation and implementation of the client funded project design and will act as the principal point of contact for technical enquiries.

As the Lead Mechanical Engineer you will also act as an interface between the project, client, other engineering disciplines and the core design team to resolve technical issues, whilst at times you will work autonomously you will have a high level of team leadership skills and be capable of managing the work and development of other team members.
