Our client, one of the leading owners is currently resourcing for a Lead Subsea Hardware Engineer to work in the Houston Exploration office for the Gulf of Mexico and West African projects. The Houston office has been designated as a center for excellence for Deepwater engineering and as such is looking for Senior level candidates with experience on multi billion dollar MCP's to join their team on a Direct Hire basis. Successful candidates will be proven self starters within the oil and gas industry, with at least 3 years of working on the owner side.

Responsibilities:

� Conceptual design of deepwater subsea oil and gas production facilities equipment; including Trees, Manifolds, Subsea Pumps, Control Distribution Systems and Control Umbilicals

� Interface with Subsea Flow Assurance; Drilling and Completions, Subsea Controls, Flowlines, Risers, and Installation Engineering

� Oversee technical aspects of the project including design and construction engineering, and procurement of specialized products

� Management of discipline work performed by Subsea Design consultancies, and Equipment Manufacturers

� Audit work performed by Subsea Equipment Design consultancies, and Equipment Manufacturers

� Preparation of Enquiry Packages for Subsea Equipment Supply contracts, carry out evaluations of related bids and prepare award recommendations

� Provide input to project budgets, cost estimates and schedules

� Undertake special studies as required
