My client develops, acquires and operates electric power and district heating businesses around the globe. They focus upon high-growth, under-served markets and innovative niches within developed markets - such as renewable and Combined Heat and Power (CHP).

They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee all design & engineering activities on various power generation projects out of their North East office. You will also be required to travel overseas (worldwide) to sites to meet with clients and see design right through to installation.

Ideally they are looking for an Engineer who comes from a CHP background, but will also look at candidates with renewable energy & power generation experience.

If you don't have CHP background then you must have experience in the following:
Power Plant Boiler Design & Installation
Thermodynamics
Heat distribution systems

A Degree is preferred, but over 10 years power generation experience accompanied by a HNC / HND will be sufficient.
