NES Global are actively seeking the services of an OIM/ Production Manager for a major operator client in offshore Equatorial Guinea.

The core duties and responsibilities are as follows;

- Management responsibility for off-shore operations in the field
- Ensure compliance with national legislation
- Ensure correct scheduling of work, and materials to maintain a safe environment
- Provide executive control in event of an emergency in the field
- Overall day to day accountable for all marine, production and, maintenance activities on the installation
- Management of contractors working on, or in the vicinity of the installation
- Responsible for HSE and welfare of all personnel at the installations in the field
- Maximizing production output ensuring that all operations are executed in accordance HSE requirements
- Financial responsibility includes authorizing and monitoring of material requisition expenditure and input into annual budgets preparation
- Manage the offshore response to issue raised by statutory inspectors ( HSE and certifying authority)
- Prepare operational and technical reports as required
- Review project engineering work-packs and platform change proposals
- Ensure HSE related training and exercises are carried out
- Management of offshore emergency response
- Leads accident and incident investigations as necessary

Minimum requirements;

- Bachelors degree in engineering with a minimum of 15 years relevant work experience, 3 of which should be in a senior supervisory position
- Command and control Certificates (OIM Cert)
