This Main Civil Engineering Contractor are one of the busiest in the UK, they have numerous schemes available including the highly prestigious �50m Carlise Northern Development Route (CNDR)

This scheme is due to run for at least the next 3 years and the company require a highly skilled project manager for the following role

Job role

Contributing to the tender and pre-qualification process.
Work within the company standards - Business Plan, HSQE CSR, Procurement/Supply, Finance, HR etc.
Plan, programme, set up and run a project.
Deliver profitability that exceeds normal tender margins wherever possible.
Assesses risk and opportunity and act for the good of the company.
Represent the company on contractual issues if required.
Develops and support employees under their supervision.

Skills Required

Ideally Degree / MICE qualified

Pevious experience as Project Manager with a main Civil Engineering contractor on projects from �25 to �50m.
High-level commercial/financial awareness.
PFI / DBFO experience.
