a) Knowledge of, and compliance with Management Systems and Procedures.
b) Knowledge of, and compliance with, Client, industry, national and international specifications and standards.
c) Production of cost effective design solutions that are fit for purpose, safe
and add value.
d) Surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of workscopes.
e) Design input to procurement / engineering activities for purchase of engineered items.
f) Review of Supplier / Vendor documents.
g) Execution of work within manhour budget and time schedule.
h) Identification of increase or reduction in scope of work and advising theLead Discipline Designer accordingly.
i) Early identification to the Lead Discipline Designer of areas of concern during the course of any project or study with necessary corrective action
j) Originating design documentation for allocated workscopes, e.g. drawings, sketches and bill of materials, and checking documentation created
by others.
k) Operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design. Seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel and beneficial, carrying out presentations to site personnel
l) Following discipline procedures for document control and use and retention of check prints / IDC comments prints as directed by the Lead Discipline Designer.
m) Representation of with Clients and Suppliers
/ Vendors in a professional manner.
n) Assistance to the Lead Designer as directed.
