Located at the Sullom Voe Terminal on a 10 days on 4 days off rotation.

-Prepare engineering and construction scope for both man-hours and equipment estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules.
-Ensure that results of any development work are fully utilised in Piping activities.
-Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required
-Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
-Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
-Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required
-Assist the Lead Piping Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties

Experience:

Skilled engineering experience, including considerable oil and gas related experience.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:

Conversant with ASME B31.3, BS8010, BS EN 13480, ASME B16.5, API 6D, etc.
Conversant with ASME VIII & BS EN 13445
Fully conversant with material and valve properties and selection techniques
Conversant with Engineering software including Word & Excel
Current offshore medical certificate
