Process engineering: the current climate
Welcome to issue ten of NES Process. Before you scroll down to our latest news, career management tips and the most recent process vacancies, I’d like to give you a brief overview of the industry, providing a little more information about the outlook for technical and engineering professionals within the process industry.
While there have been many reports about a growing preference for temporary or contract work in light of economic turbulence, the permanent market - as far as we are concerned - can be best described as booming, from graduate level right through to senior management level. GLOBAL CANDIDATE PIPELINE: an update
The main function of the Immigration Advisory Service is to provide assistance for the placement of non-EU candidates where NES was previously unable and unauthorised to do so.
Registration with the Office of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), the government body that regulates all immigration advisers in the UK, allows NES to conduct this service professionally and within the law.
Recent changes to the immigration system in the UK have placed additional responsibilities upon both employers and recruitment agencies, which must ensure that an individual is eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide evidence that all reasonable checks have been made to this effect...read more.
