Specialist rail recruitment firm, NES Track, part of the NES Group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Rowlands as managing director.
Andy’s extensive recruitment experience has spanned more than ten years and in 2000, three years after first joining NES, he moved to Orlando, where he spent four years as operations manager, establishing the company’s first US office.
Most recently, Andrew has held the position of business development director with NES Global, where he has increased the company’s presence within the Middle East. His work with the Dubai Metro has prepared him well for this position, where the recent contract award with Network Rail and anticipated work with Crossrail will demand the direct operational experience that Andrew has acquired.
“As preparations for the 2012 Olympics generate greater demand for our services, it is imperative that NES Track has a leader who can take advantage of the opportunities available,” says NES chief executive, Neil Tregarthen. “Andrew is undoubtedly the best person for this role and I am confident that he can grow the business successfully even in these times of economic uncertainty,” Neil concludes.
