Chemical Process Engineers supplied are responsible for designing the chemical process for extracting or refining oil or gas / chemicals and are typically employed to carry out: PID’s; PFD’s developments; equipment design & specifications (boilers / columns / compressors / drums / exchangers / furnaces / reactors / pumps / reactors / tanks); instrument design & specifications; safety valve specifications; hydraulic calculations; and flare studies during conceptual, FEED and detailed design stages of major offshore and onshore projects.
Another specialist area is the supply of Flow Assurance Engineers for major subsea developments. Softwares used include HYSYS and HYSYS Plant, Pro II, Pipesim and FPT (Field Planning Tool) and Olga 2000.
