We recruit for jobs from QA Engineers through to Quality Assurance Managers / Head of Departments. QA Engineers supplied are responsible for the management and coordination of all facets of project quality assurance management. Engineers are typically employed to construct the Project Quality Management System (QMS) during FEED and detailed design stage and ensure that project activities are conducted in compliance with the project QMS throughout the life of the project.
Quality Assurance engineers are often expected to contribute actively to the preparation of the documents that define the project organisation: Project Execution Plan (PEP); Project Quality Plan (PQP); Risk Management Plan (RMP); Change Management Plan; Document Management Plan; Interface Management Plan; Surveillance Philosophy and associated procedures, and keep them updated. Additionally, contributions to the definition of the Project Quality Policy, objectives, procedures and guidelines are also often the responsibility of QA Engineers, who are crucial to ensure the projects' certification processes (ISO 9001).
NES also specialises in the placement of Quality Control Engineers to major onshore and offshore projects in the petrochemical, bulk chemical and oil & gas industries. Most typically, these engineers are site based to ensure that QC inspection requirements are provided in accordance with project procedures, verifying that execution contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are performing and documenting all quality activities in accordance with procedures and specifications.
QC Engineers are responsible for day-to-day contact and communication with Site Project Engineers, Superintendents and QC Inspectors with respect to arranging and performing inspections at execution of contractors / subcontractors / suppliers, as required. Also QC engineers are expected to perform scheduled audits, as directed by the QA / QC Co-ordinator. NES provides all disciplines of QC Engineers, from Welding Inspectors / NDT Inspectors, Civil Inspectors, E&I Inspectors and Site Representatives.
