NES supplies office-based and site-based Project Managers to major power generation projects worldwide. These include fossil fired power plants; gas fired power plants and nuclear power plants.
Project Managers are required at all stages of a project lifecycle, from approval stage to completion. Project Managers interface with engineering, operations and technical personnel to lead the design and implementation of projects. They evaluate technical calculations and complex modifications for problem solving and establish communication with project stakeholders.
Project Managers also ensure the proper planning - scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality - of the project, with the execution within cost and schedule constraints also being the responsibility of the Project Manager.
Strong technical skills must be combined with excellent commercial skills - negotiation and influential capabilities, as well as understanding of regulatory and risk management issues, are paramount.
